You Take And You Take:  Imperialism in Africa

In this lesson, students will explore the reasons for imperialism in Africa and the effects of colonization on parts of Africa. Students will analyze maps, images, and political cartoons. They will also view a video and read an article to understand how imperialism affected Africa.

  4. Extend - Students will analyze political cartoons to determine the causes and effects of imperialism on Africa.
