I serve as the Lead Student Experiences Coordinator for the GEAR UP for MY SUCCESS grant at the University of Oklahoma's K20 Center. I have worked in a variety of areas within higher education, including financial aid, admissions, and career services. I previously served as the Parent and Community Coordinator for a previous GEAR UP urban grant at the K20 Center. I am a first generation college graduate, growing up in rural Oklahoma and have completed a bachelors and masters degree program.
The High School GEAR UP Kickoff activity will focus on postsecondary benefits, options, and terminology.
