Procedure

Materials

  • Small dry erase boards

  • Markers

  • 20 questions about the topic

Prep

Before the activity, generate 20 college-themed trivia questions using ChatGPT. Questions can cover topics such as campus history, programs, traditions, and fun facts.

Instructions

  1. Divide participants into teams. Provide each team with a dry erase board, marker, and eraser.

  2. The moderator reads one question aloud at a time.

  3. Teams discuss their response and write their agreed-upon answer on their board.

  4. When prompted with “Boards up!”, all teams raise their boards to show their answers simultaneously.

  5. Award points for correct answers. Keep a running tally; the team with the most points at the end wins.

  6. (Optional) Use the attached Reflection Questions to lead a discussion about what they have learned.
