People used to (and sometimes still do) give flowers based on their meaning. It is helpful for a floral designer to know the meaning behind certain flowers so they don’t send the wrong message. Test your flower knowledge in this matching game.

Activity 3 - Design an Arrangement
Some floral designers build their creations from the flowers in their shop, designing as they go, but other times it may be important to sketch out designs for a client to approve. Designing floral arrangements for a big event requires a designer be imaginative and creative.

You can watch just one or two of the videos or watch the entire series. The third video in the series offers great tips for designing a bouquet and bringing a lot of different flowers together.
