Summary
Teacher Hive is a platform where teachers create and share hundreds of small educational games, apps, and tools that cover topics like brain breaks, ELA, math, science, and social studies. Anyone can build an app using an AI chatbot like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, then paste the code into Teacher Hive to publish and host it.
All core features, such as playing shared games, browsing, bookmarking, following and publishing, are free for all users. Pro accounts are available. The money goes toward covering hosting for all users and includes higher storage limits, a URL shortener, and analytics.
Procedure
Go to teacherhive.app.
Browse existing apps by selecting "Collections," or search for a topic directly in the search bar.
Select "Info" on any game or app to preview it before using it with a class.
To publish your own game or app, select "Sign Up" to create a free account.
Build a game or app with an AI chatbot, then copy the HTML it generates.
Paste that HTML into Teacher Hive or paste a link if the app is already hosted elsewhere.
Add a custom app icon if you would like, then publish. Your app will be hosted at its own apphive.us link.
